I’m currently studying Life Sciences at Queen’s University, working toward my dream of becoming a pediatric oncologist! I was a competitive swimmer for years, and my love for the water led me to become a lifeguard and swim instructor! I’ve been teaching lessons for four years, and I absolutely love helping swimmers of all ages build confidence and master new skills. Nothing beats the excitement of seeing someone overcome a challenge! My specialties include beginner and intermediate swim instruction, stroke refinement, and water safety education. I’ve worked with kids, adults, and individuals with different learning needs! Excited to meet all of you!

I have just finished up my 1st year at Queen’s University in Mechanical Engineering! I have been a swim instructor/lifeguard for 2 years and a competitive swimmer for many years, as well as a ski coach! I love seeing students progress their skills ans become more comfortable in and around the water. My specialties are working with swimmers to progress and prefect their stroke technique.

What I enjoy most about this role is inspiring the next generation of swimmers and instructors while also taking on a leadership position. I hold an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and graduated high school with first-class honours, having also completed a French immersion program. Currently, I am enrolled in the undergraduate science program at Western University. With over a year of experience as a swim instructor and lifeguard, my favorite aspect of this role is the sense of achievement I feel every time a child I'm teaching makes progress. I have taught swimming and possess summer camp experience as well.

After graduating from my current high school, Appleby College, I am studying Kinesiology/Health studies for my undergrad! I love creating a fun and positive environment for my students. Watching them develop skills and building confidence in the water extremely rewarding, and I love having such a positive impact on their lives! I specialize in building confidence in nervous swimmers, tailoring lessons to individual needs, and making learning fun through engaging drills. My background as a coach and summer camp counselor helps me connect with kids and adapt to different learning styles, whether it’s in or out of the water. I can’t wait to get started this summer!

I will be a second year student at Redeemer University, studying Health Sciences in the Pre-Medicine stream as I have aspirations to become a nephrologist one day. I have always loved swimming as a kid thanks to such wonderful swim instructors. I have been a lifeguard for about 3 years now and I want to continue doing what I love. One of my favourite things about being a swim instructor is that I love swimming and teaching kids how to swim properly with confidence (and style )! I am trained to teach all levels of swimming, including: competitive swimming, emergency first-aid, and LSS Bronze (pre-lifeguarding) courses. I am looking forward to teaching you this summer!

I specialize in teaching front and back crawl. I will typically breakdown each component of the stroke, that way my students understand each movement better.

I am currently going into my 4th year of a Bachelor of Health Sciences with a minor in Management at the University of Ottawa and have 4 years of experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor. I specialize in stroke correction and building confidence in the water, with a focus on improving technique, efficiency, and overall comfort for swimmers of all levels! I enjoy helping individuals progress from feeling unsure in the water to becoming confident and capable swimmers, and I take pride in creating a calm, supportive environment where each swimmer feels comfortable improving at their own pace.
I currently attend Dalhousie University where I am studying a degree in Commerce, Finance.I have been a swim instructor and lifeguard for the past 5 years and it's a role I love! I’m passionate about helping my students build confidence in the water while developing strong swimming skills. I love watching them overcome their fears and grow to genuinely enjoy and appreciate swimming. I specialize in teaching front and back crawl and the appropriate arm and kicking techniques. Above all, I aim to create a positive environment where swimmers can build their skills while genuinely enjoying their lessons.

I am currently studying Science and Business at the University of Waterloo. I have been a lifeguard for the past 3 years at the University of Guelph. I have been a swim instructor/competitive coach for the past 4 years with the Guelph Marlins. I love teaching swimming because I love to watch people achieve their goals and overcome challenges. I specialize in teaching breaststroke but I am qualified to teach everything.
