I’m currently studying Life Sciences at Queen’s University, working toward my dream of becoming a pediatric oncologist! I was a competitive swimmer for years, and my love for the water led me to become a lifeguard and swim instructor! I’ve been teaching lessons for four years, and I absolutely love helping swimmers of all ages build confidence and master new skills. Nothing beats the excitement of seeing someone overcome a challenge! My specialties include beginner and intermediate swim instruction, stroke refinement, and water safety education. I’ve worked with kids, adults, and individuals with different learning needs! Excited to meet all of you!

I plan to go to college for police foundations and I aspire to be a tac medic one day, My favourite thing about being a lifeguard and swim coach is when I see the kids get excited about their accomplishments and become passionate about their swimming! Some of my teaching specialties are my warm up songs for the little kiddos and my halftime games for the big ones.

I am currently at Wilfrid Laurier University for a Bachelors of Kinesiology.  The thing I love most about being a lifeguard and swim instructor is seeing people of all ages realize how much they can actually achieve, and helping people get over fears of water! My teaching specialties are adults (beginner and intermediate) as well as older children.

After graduating from my current high school, Appleby College, I am studying Kinesiology/Health studies for my undergrad! I love creating a fun and positive environment for my students. Watching them develop skills and building confidence in the water extremely rewarding, and I love having such a positive impact on their lives! I specialize in building confidence in nervous swimmers, tailoring lessons to individual needs, and making learning fun through engaging drills. My background as a coach and summer camp counselor helps me connect with kids and adapt to different learning styles, whether it’s in or out of the water. I can’t wait to get started this summer!

I am currently studying Psychology at the University of Guelph. I was a competitive swimmer for 6 years and have been a competitive swim coach/swim instructor for the last 4 years. What I love most about being a swim instructor is getting to see my swimmer’s progress as they accomplish skills they have been working on. My strengths include working with children starting from 3-10 years of age as well as teaching stroke technique, breathing, and speed for all strokes. I am a patient instructor who knows how to alter my teaching to best fit the strengths and needs of my swimmers.
